Windows 7 Pricing Details Announced by windows7center today..

The long awaited Windows 7 prices announcement are here. Today, Microsoft announced the prices for Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional, and Ultimate editions. The good news is that the most popular SKU edition, Home Premium, has been significantly discounted from its Vista predecessor. Unfortunately, the pricing for the higher SKUs remain the same.

Upgrade Pricing

Windows 7 Home Premium – $119.99 – difference from vista version – $10 (8%)
Windows 7 Professional $199.99
Windows 7 Ultimate – $219.99 – difference from vista version – $0
Retail (Full) Pricing

Windows 7 Home Premium – $199.99 – difference from vista version – $50 (23%)
Windows 7 Professional – $299.99
Windows 7 Ultimate – $319.99 – difference from vista version – $0
However, Microsoft is offering an amazing pre-order offer that is difficult to refuse. If you are a resident of the US, Canada, or Japan, you can pre-order Windows 7 Home Premium and Professional at half the price from June 26th till July11th (July 5th in Japan). If you’re in the UK, France, or Germany, you can get the same deal from July 15th till August 14th. You can also pre-order the upgrade editions online from retailers like Amazon and Best buy. Home Premium Upgrade will cost $49.99 ($70.00 savings) and Professional Upgrade will cost $99.99 ($100 savings).

“What if I’m getting a new PC?!” If you buy a new PC from June 26th, 2009 to January 31st, 2010, you will receive a Windows 7 Upgrade Option Coupon to receive a FREE copy of the corresponding Windows 7 version of the Windows Vista version installed on your computer. This Upgrade Program is globally, and you do not need to pay for shipping and handling. Although the majority of retailers should be offering the coupon for free, Microsoft has stated that some retailers will decide to offer it at “little” cost. Pricing for an Electronic upgrade via Windows Anytime Upgrade, has not yet been announced and hopefully will be soon.

semester 6, finished.. 2 semester to go, 1 industrial training to go (start next monday)… well, it wont be much different since I will undergo the training at company which is quite near to my house (can even walk to go there)..  its almost 2 years since i started this blog, sorry still not in mood for blog…

I have been testing it for almost 4 months, so far soooo good.. im really love the new windows, its new feature, stability. in fact, aside from my laptop and desktop, I have also try it in acer aspire 5550, and lenovo y450 . Windows 7 run smoothly without any problem aside driver, well it will take some time for manufacture to update their hardware driver, but VISTA driver is still compatible with seven, you can install any hardware using vista driver if the windows didnt detect the hardware. for my desktop, I only have to install driver for my webcam, other driver is already installed. games? I played Red Alert 3 at Garena without any problem… others games too..

latest news, windows 7 build 7100 which is the release candidate (RC) is out in p2p network, both 32 and 64bit.. just try it, I bet after try it, you guys will never wanna use either vista or xp, it happen to me, im so in loved with windows 7 ?:P.. ? ? ? but always remember to backup all your files first before installing new windows

yeah.. after sucessfully installing windows 7 @ my laptop, now its my desktop turn..

no uppdate for a long time heh.. well, recently everyday is the same, nothing special, nothing big, nothing extra ordinary as I live my life as a student, just a bunch of assigments, presentation, lab report and web design need to be done.. this blog also got many problem not solved yet, as I just fix it so it can be view, im sure u guys notice the categories link cannot be use and many more, I will update my wordpress to 2.7.1 later and maybe change the theme, if I have time.. also sorry for the loading status, I know many of you cannot view this blog due to the status loading still appear for a long time, I will fix it later.. by the way, friends is you want an exstudios.org email, tell me..

Its a long time since the last time I upgrade/buy new desktop, yesterday I used almost RM3k to build new CPU and buy new lCD….

since lowyat is runing low at stock due to chinese new year, the price i get slighly higher than before.. but i need to get new PC as my old one is almost dead.. ?with all that, vista’s Windows User Experience given a rate of 5.9 .. now I can run Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 at Ultra high graphic setting at 1920 x 1080 resolution .. supposely I want to buy Intel Core2 Duo E8400 3Ghz, but all shop at lowyat dosent have a stock…
