Atlast. my own notebook :P… after a long time.. just carrying other person notebook.. using my scholarship i got this new notebook with a good price… my notebook spec:
intel centrino, intel core2 1.6GHz, 2GB DDR2 ram, 160GB hard disk.. also DVD RW..
but what i like about this notebook.. it has slide in DVD drive, and nice design..
Cough… hi all. As mentioned in my last post, yesterday I go to EIG or Engineering Interactive Event, organized by PKUM, I go as a committee not a participant, my job? Mostly a technical job like setting the audio system, screen and also taking photo of the event. Quite tired today, last nite I don’t having enough sleep… but this event really benefit me, I get experience and friends also get to know more about my course mate ïŠ.
Here my activity for these 2 days, Saturday : 7.00 am, arrive at meeting spot. Well, I guess I arrive too early, 7.15 other people start coming… and around 7.45 we start our journey to Port Dickson we arrive around 9.40 am… school bus.. I wonder why we can’t use UM’s bus like other student from other universities. USM’s student come with USM’s bus same as UTHM student. But UM’s student, using school bus… hmm… then we setup a registration counter and the event is started. This event has 3 talks by engineers and professionals. All talk is about our career after we graduated.

Ok that’s for EIG. For the last week. Many classes got cancel.. and I have waste my time go to UM. Hmm, even worst, last Thursday the Engineering faculty having a blackout… haha… hope next week nothing happen, my scholarship… still not… I want a laptop… it’s really hard to do work if u have a little bro that like to play game using ur computer..
Last week, I only repair 1 laptop, the laptop is acer, and its problem are, task manager are disable, registry editor also disable, and got spyware.. Seeing its antivirus is AVG, I change it to Kasperskey, then I fix the registry and all thing back to normal, take only half an hour, it’s really an easy task… So I decide not to charge anything…
what a bz week.. haha.. yet i still play counter strike.. recently i just set up a forum for PKUM, but this forum is open to everyone.. so anyone can register and post.. but this forum is mainly for student :).. check out the forum at http://pkum.exhstudios.com/forum .. next saturday PKUM will organized EIG or Engineering Interactive Gathering. as comitte member.. I must go.. for EIG website go to http://pkum.um.edu.my/web/eig .. introduction presentation for EIG still not dont yet.. it give me headache.. well.. thats my work.. oh ya.for the last week.. i only check a external hard disk.. which is i dunno why.. one of its partition cant be open.. then i just scan the hard disk. check2.. and I dunno how.. walla.. the harddisk is OK back :P… err. as i see.. many visitor come here just to check my pokemon post. haha. so i dont think anyone will read this post.. hmm.. ok.. yesterday.. I just know.. the girl I like actually.. already have a boyfriend.. haha.. well Im too late.. again.. its really hard but.. well.. I have to keep searching.. someday eh.. when eh. today… just doing some work.. and play game.. oh ya.. in the morning, I take my litle bro, farqhan to the playground.. well.. kid nowdays sure is active.. hehe.. farqhan make me run at the whole playground.. just to catch him.. tomorrow. only LAB class.. 10 to 12.. so I will driving to class.. but still have to wake up early to send my sis to school… tomorrow my maklong will back from Haji.im really miss her cooking :P.. ok.. thats my life for now.. I will write again if I feel I wan to write..

PKUM bulletin.. EIG multimedia… PKUM website.. Laptop to be repair.. sigh. guess i really need a laptop for my own.. today at carefour. i see lenovo laptop.. surprisely.. with price about 3k.. it have all I need plus it have a speaker with subwoofer. wee wee.. 3k.. my scholarship.. dont think enough.. ahahhaa.. arghh.. phew. just update http://pkum.um.edu.my  .. but I know.. nobody see the website.. theres nothing in there.. wait till I put lecture note >:)..
OK, starting now, I will post about computer/laptop I have repaired. For this week, laptop repaired:
1. NEC (forgot its model) - just update windows, driver and install some software. [1 day/have to use internet at home]
2. Acer (also forgot its model) - virus infected, task manager, registry editor disable, antivirus corrupted. repair its registry to enable tas manager and registry editor, change antivirus, update antivirus checking system performance. [2 hours]
3. Acer Aspire 3628 - problem: automatic shutdown after couple of minutes, windows corrupted after many times attempting to install windows. after checking, I found that its processor fan didn’t function at normal rate, this cause the processor to overheat, and shut down. Before this I have found other acer laptop with processor fan malfunction. Solution – using standard casing fan, I manage to cool the processor and install windows/software/driver. Then, I install temperature monitor to see the laptop performance. At idle, this laptop processor temperature stay at 50 degree Celsius, while at 100% usage, the temperature will exceed 96 degree Celsius which set the laptop to auto shut down. So I recommended the owner to change the processor fan or use high performance cooling pad.
